PIREG®-545 Panel Mounted Impulse Heat Seal Controller
The TOSS PIREG-545 panel mount impulse heat seal controller has a temp range of 0°- 500°C and voltage ratings of 115, 230, and 400 VAC. Combined with an analog output of the actual temperature for remote display, this controller is specifically built with the high response and precise control needed for sealing the wide variety of polymeric films used in contemporary packaging.
Description of the Controller
The PIREG-545 is a robust controller designed for precise temperature regulation up to 500˚C. It features programmable control for heat and cool timing, as well as a preheat capability. The sealing cycle can be initiated by an external switch or a 24VDC signal. It also provides an analog output of the actual temperature for remote display and includes two programmable relays. Highly regarded for its reliability, the PIREG-545 includes alarms and error diagnostics to quickly identify and address faults. Additionally, it is equipped with a full set of terminals for connection to a PLC, allowing it to be controlled entirely by a master PLC.
Precise Control Assures Easy Validation
With Pireg Heat Seal Controllers each sealing cycle is consistently uniform, minute by minute, day by day, and year after year. The high response time enables more cycles per minute, as the heatseal band can be energized and reach sealing temperature before the jaw bars close. Precise control prevents temperature overshoot, extends the life of the heatseal band, and helps preserve the anti-stick cover strips.
